This is an ODDBALL bag meaning that it is not quite perfect visually but is structurally and functionally perfect. In this case, this fabric was just too sheer and did not cooperate no many how many attempts I made to modify it. Some fabrics just do not work for every project, no matter how much you try. I have listed each separate attempt for this bag and they are all different prices that reflect their imperfections.

Trial #1- Made this the way I always make this bag, the pink lining shows through the white print and you can see where the seams end inside the pouch through the fabric.

Trial #2- Added an additional layer of interfacing in the hopes that it would make the white fabric more opaque. It did, but you can still get a blush of the pink, and the seams are more visible due to their bulk.

Trial #3- Added an additional 2 layers of interfacing (thats three layers now) and as you would expect, the pouch has more structure, its firmer, the seams are also one more layer thick and can be seen, but no more pink lining visible!! Also an unexpected side effect, the bag has permanent wrinkles that could not be ironed out, no matter how much I tried. Still looks much better than trial #1 and trial #2!

Trial #4- At this point I'm angry at the fabric, but attempt one last time to add another layer of interfacing. Thats 4 layers of interfacing total. The pouch looks promising, I can't see any pink showing through and the fabric is thick enough that its hard to notice the bulk of the seams! But they're still slightly visible, along with some wrinkles that could not be ironed out despite all the elbow grease that went into it.
